Orphan care is something dear to my heart. I have watched several friends go through the adoption process and love someone who would otherwise be another statistic.
I have met with women that everyday fight for, care for, and raise children that aren’t legally her own. So many children live in our world, country, and maybe even neighborhood that would love the opportunity to call someone their forever mom and forever dad. If you believe adoption or foster care is something for you check out this upcoming conference at the Summit Church in Durham, NC. While we are not all able to adopt or foster children, there are so many ways you can help. Our friends, Harts in Durham, are in the process of adopting from Uganda. They have a court date set and will be heading over in a few short weeks! A great way to support orphan care is to support those adopting or fostering. You can support them by heading here!
