Things have been shifting quite a bit in the nest.  The purpose of this post is not to apologize for the long pause, but to gain some perspective of a new journey we find ourselves on.  I adore the beautiful things of home decor, and the joy that comes from crafting and designing. I enjoy a beautiful fall day and how it inspires me.  I love my family; the gentle strength of my husbands leadership. This week I was asked to consider my reaction if this was all ripped away. My comforts, my home, my husband, all vanished. That is a very real state for so many children. All the normal things of life interrupted, removed. Instead of my typical how to post or a review of my favorite things, take a minute to be silent, to think how would it feel to walk in another’s, a child’s shoes. Please note that the following video may be sensitive for some.
